Project Overview: We want to build structures that are the best in their class, energy efficient and with a focus on speed of construction using newer building technologies,” says Al Way of Jamesway Construction.  The Student Residence building uses ICF starting on the first floor and at 14 storeys is the highest load-bearing ICF structure in North America.  Not one exterior strap or extra bracing was required on the outside of the building all the way up.  The parapet walls are twelve feet high on top of the 14th storey level.
